Greyhound Racing Tips: Slippy Eva Set For Repeat Hove Success

Hove hosts a 12-race card on which every contest is graded.

Hove is the venue to a fine card on Saturday evening.

There are 12 kennel stakes finals at Hove this evening, all of which are graded races at the Sussex track.

Hove were handed these finals as part of the prize they won when they were successful in the RPGTV Entain Track Championship last month.

The action begins at 18.09 and runs through to 21.28 and below are some dogs to look out for across the card, including a bitch who can remain unbeaten in graded sprint races at 19.36.

Slippy Eva can Outstay her Rivals Again

Seamus Cahill is represented in the S1 contest at 20.54 by Slippy Eva, who was successful over this distance and grade seven days ago at this track.

It was an impressive success as she found traffic at the opening bend, but overcame that trouble to score by a short head, with a time of 42.08.

Six of her seven successes at Hove have come from Trap 1, so the draw has worked out well for her in this final.

Hopefully, she can get to the first bend without any trouble this time and expect to see her finish the race strongly once again, which should be enough for a repeat victory.

Pocket Lola is a Sprinter in Top Form

With three wins from three races in D1 company, Pocket Lola is in excellent form over this 285m distance at Hove. As ever in these races, the break from the boxes is going to prove to be very important and Cahill’s runner can fly out once again at 19.36.

Pocket Lola beat a number of her rivals seven days ago in the heat for this final, including Tommys Pluto, who is her biggest threat here.

She can land this race before moving on to Open racing in the near future as she remains open to improvement.

Heres To You can Provide an Early Success

One of the leading chances of the evening comes in the 18.28, where Heres To You returns following a comfortable victory last week. She scored by over three lengths from this trap on her first run in a graded race at this track.

Expect to see this bitch in a much stronger grade than this A9 in the near future, but before she rises up the grades, she can claim her second win at this level.

She should be up with the pace early and, as long as she gets a clear run around, she will be hard to beat.

Freeky Pumbaa to Continue his Excellent A1 Record

There is an A1 contest to end the card from Hove at 21.28 and there is likely to be a familiar winner here in the form of Freeky Pumbaa.

His record reads 4-5 in A1 races at this track and he has also an impressive 33 per cent strike-rate in all races at the Sussex venue.

This dog has been trapping sharply recently and if he does the same again in this race, he can lead them from the traps to the finish line. He clocked a time of 29.26 on his last outing, which is better than any of his rivals have produced before.
