Greyhound Tips: Henry to Continue His Harlow March

Harlow is the venue for greyhound action on Wednesday and our expert has had his say on five of the races!

There are seven open races on the card at Harlow on Wednesday, with some very interesting runners. The quality of the racing is higher than is sometimes the case at the track so this should be an excellent evening of action in prospect.

Henry to Continue Unbeaten Run

Jamie Kingsley has got March On Henry in flying form at present. He has won all three of his starts over this 415m trip, improving his end time on each occasion. This does not look any tougher than any of those prior contests so he should be very hard to hold in his bid for a four-timer at 20.03.

Fletcher to Be Crowned the Sprint King

Poker King had been in excellent form at Henlow prior to running here for the first time last week. He brought that level across straight away when winning from trap five, better suited to six tonight in the 19.44.

It would be no surprise if he ducked under the 15-second barrier in the final if he traps as he can, and that should be more than enough to take home the £500 first prize for Stephen Fletcher.

Prunty to Appreciate Drop in Class

Paul Young has given Droopys Prunty some tough tasks so far in his career, this looking considerably easier for him. He was touted in some circles as an interesting outsider for the recent Champion Stakes at Romford but was knocked out in the opening round.

He lacks a look at this different track which isn’t ideal but a repeat of the best of his form from other courses would set a strong standard for his rivals to aim at in the 20.23.

Chilli to Be Too Hot to Handle

It’s fair to say that Chilli The Kid has been a little disappointing since joining Young. He had some very smart form when trained in Ireland, including a slick 28.57 on his final start at Shelbourne.

He was a length in front of Ballyhimikin Pip on that occasion, that bitch runner-up in the Munster Oaks since. That level of form should be too hot to handle in a 415m maiden at 21.02.

Ridge to Shine on Staying Debut

There are not many miles on the clock so far for Eagle Ridge, looking the type to improve further for Nina Shine. She has been noted staying on well after the line over the 415m trip here so the step up to 592m looks a big plus.

She does not have too much in the way of early pace but that may not be quite so apparent against this field. She can find the new distance very much to her liking at 19.07.
