The Baltimore Ravens franchise began in 1996 when the Browns moved out of Cleveland and rebranded as the Ravens. Of course, this has led to a healthy rivalry between the Browns (re-formed in ’99) and the city which ‘took’ their team away from them.
The Ravens play in the AFC North, where they come up against the Browns, the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Cincinnati Bengals. In recent years the most competitive intra-division rivalry has been the one between the Ravens and Stellers, with both franchises regularly making the post-season.
